"I had been contacted by the Deccan Chargers who gave me an offer. But I have not received anything written from them as yet."
This verbal offer was discussed between Razzak and the PCB head Izaz Butt.
But Razzak also said that he was in talks with the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Earlier, the owner of KKR, Shah Rukh Khan, had expressed interest in hiring the services of Razzak.
The KKR skipper, Saurav Ganguly, told an Indian television channel that Razzak had been approached but would wait for an official clearance.
He also said he will take a decision only after consulting the Pakistan Cricket Board.
"Right now, the entire clearance process is due. After all that has happened in the past few days, I do not want to rush to a decision."
The PCB chairman, Izaz Butt has told journalists that players with valid contracts will only participate in the Indian Premier League.
Meanwhile, Razzak says he has recovered from a wrist injury that he was suffering from.
"I have had a wrist injury but I have recovered from it. I will soon start practice," he said.
Earlier, as many as 11 Pakistani players had gone under the hammer in the IPL-3 auctions in Mumbai on January 19 but not one of them was bought by any of the franchises.
